Dealer Agreement (6.5%)
Tempus Rex Dealer Agreement
Applies to approved dealer accounts.
1. Independent Status
Dealer operates as independent business.
No partnership or agency relationship is created.
2. Dealer Fee
Dealer transaction fee: 6.5% on all completed sales.
Fee deducted prior to payout release.
3. Inventory Standards
Dealer must:
- List authentic inventory
- Disclose aftermarket components
- Provide accurate descriptions
- Upload clear, current photos
Repeated violations may result in termination.
4. Aftermarket Enforcement
If authentication or reinspection reveals undisclosed aftermarket components:
Tempus Rex may:
- Cancel transaction
- Require refund
- Facilitate renegotiation
- Suspend dealer
Repeated violations may result in permanent termination.
5. Shipping & Insurance
Dealer must:
- Use platform FedEx labels
- Fully insure shipment
- Follow signature requirements
- Ship within 48 hours
6. Structured Returns
Dealer sales follow the same 48-hour buyer dispute window.
All approved returns require:
- Platform-generated label
- Full insurance
- Reinspection before refund
7. Payout Timing
Funds released only after buyer acceptance or automatic acceptance after 48 hours.
Tempus Rex may delay payout if:
- Disputes
- Fraud indicators
- Chargeback risk
8. Chargeback Responsibility
If a chargeback occurs and dealer violated platform policy:
Dealer is responsible for disputed amount.
Repeated chargebacks may result in suspension.
9. Indemnification
Dealer indemnifies Tempus Rex against claims arising from misrepresentation or counterfeit sales.
